Honda Racing BTCC

In 2012, the Honda Racing Team secured a second consecutive clean sweep of Manufacturers',Teams' and Drivers' titles in the UK's most popular motor racing series, the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC). In the final race meeting of another challenging season, Gordon 'Flash' Shedden and Matt Neal secured 1st and 2nd in the 2012 Drivers' Championship.

Having managed the social media for Team Dynamics, Honda Racing's technical partner, since 2008, we went on to work with Honda UK and top ranked agency Collective in 2010 to deliver a focused campaign and grow Honda's audience.

In 2012 we have worked with Honda exclusively. We use our editorial experience to deliver targeted messages within a planned strategy for the racing season, both from trackside and before/after each round. We generate fans and followers, co-ordinate and manage successful competitions and apps, and promote interactivity through lively and engaging communication.

In July 2012 we ran a successful campaign for Honda UK live from the Goodwood Festival of Speed, promoting Honda's presence and driving traffic to the stand, updating Honda UK's Facebook and Twitter accounts with photo albums, videos and news.

Facebook likes and Twitter followers across Honda Racing and Team Dynamics now total over 30,000.
