Type R: #HondaRedline

As part of our involvement in the launch of the highly anticipated Honda Civic Type R, we were engaged by Honda Europe to deliver the social media ahead of its official release at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show.

Teaming up with Visual Voice, who we first worked with in Spa in 2014, we devised a strategy of content and engagement for the official Honda Type R Twitter account, to motivate fans to upload their own content at www.redline.global, a dedicated site devised by Visual Voice for Honda. The winning fans were invited as VIPs to the Geneva show.

The campaign was a huge success, evidenced by a social reach well into seven figures, and 40,000+ unique users of the #TypeR hash tag.

Following the pre-show campaign, in which we produced all content, imagery and video, we tweeted live from the press event and throughout the Geneva Show, building the anticipation ahead of the public launch later in 2015.
