Wilko Johnson Autobiography

Following our successful social media campaign for the acclaimed documentary Oil City Confidential, we were commissioned by Cadiz Music to put together a campaign for the launch of the autobiography of the star of the film, legendary guitarist Wilko Johnson.

As well as news and reviews, our Facebook campaign included live coverage of several launch-related events:

- Book launch and Q&A: Essex Book Festival, Canvey Island
- East London launch and live gig: Rough Trade East
- West London launch and live gig: Half Moon, Putney
- Stoke Newington Book Festival Q&A.

Fan engagement around these events, along with interaction with our other band pages, all helped to boost pre-orders and make the first print run a sell-out.

In early 2013, we heard the shock news that Wilko has been diagnosed with terminal cancer. The inspirational way he has dealt with this news has touched everyone, and brought him a deserved new audience.
